The Prescription Drug Take Back event will be held this Saturday April 30, from 10am to 2pm at the Sheriff’s Office. Members of the Sheriff’s Office, as well as Probation and Parole, will be present and accepting old and unused medication. The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. The Sheriff’s Office also has a drop box that can be utilized for dropping off meds anytime. *Please no liquids, sharps, or other material. Only Rx medications can be accepted. All meds are transported for destruction after being collected.
