Ozark Folk Center State Park Court Square Concert Series

Music on the Stone County Court Square is a long standing tradition and the Ozark Folk Center State Park is proud to participate in this traditional community event by sponsoring the Court Square Concert Series.

The performances take place the first Sunday of each month from 2-4pm. Each week a different group performs under the shade of the big oak tree on the east side of the courthouse. Performers play a one hour set from 2-3pm, and then the public is invited to join the group for a classic pickin’ session from 3-4pm.

Performances are free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and instruments (to participate in the pickin’) to the event. Schedule of performers to date includes:
The Upjumpers May 3, Harmony June 7, Lazy Goat String Band July 5.

Additional performers will be added in the coming weeks. Questions about these performances or any other Ozark Folk Center State Park music event, please contact Music Director Daren Dortin at 870-269-3851 or Daren.Dortin@arkansas.gov.
