Ozark Summer Day Camp at the Ozark Folk Center State Park

The Ozark Folk Center State Park offers two different Day Camps this summer for kids 8-12 years of age. The first camp will be June 15-19 with pre-registration deadline date of June 8, and the second camp July 13-17 with pre-registration deadline date of July 6. There are a limited number of students that can attend the camps.

The camp will start at 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday, the cost of the camp is $60 per child per week. If you are interested in signing up for either camp you can go to the website OzarkFolkCenter.com/Kids/Day-Camps.aspx or call the Ozark Folk Center State Park at 870-269-3851.

The Ozark Folk Center State Park is located at 1032 Park Avenue in Mountain View. Follow the signs to the Ozark Folk Center State Park, less than a mile from the Courthouse Square in downtown Mountain View. The park may also be reached by taking Hwy 5/9/14 (Sylamore Ave) to Jimmy Driftwood Parkway, which leads directly to the park entrance.

The mission of Ozark Folk Center State Park is to perpetuate, present and promote the Ozark way of life in an educational and enjoyable manner; through craft demonstrations, musical programs, the Heritage Herb Garden, workshops and other special events.
