Ozarka College’s Paul Weaver Library Receives Donation from Daughters of the American Revolution

The Strawberry River Chapter National Society of The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) has donated the book “Arkansas Historical Markers” to the Paul Weaver Library at OzarkaCollege.  Priscilla Shell Goehring, the Horseshoe Bend DAR Chapter Historian, presented the book to the Library Director, Mary Ellen Hawkins, who graciously accepted the donation.

“The book is full of interesting historical details pulled together for historians, travelers and genealogists to preserve Arkansas’s legacy for future generations,”  Hawkins said.  “It will be a valuable asset to our history classes as well as anyone interested in our area’s history.”
Ms. Goehring also donated two other books, “National Geographic On Assignment in USA” and “Faces of Christianity: a Photographic Journey.”
