The town of Pangburn will get a jump on celebrating Independence Day with a big community event on Saturday, July 3. The event gets under way with a downtown parade at 10 a.m. before moving to the city park where there will be plenty of activities for everyone.
Chesapeake is sponsoring a barbeque dinner for the event beginning at 5 p.m., with a team of volunteers delivering food to homebound residents.
