Quink to Continue Harding University’s Lyceum Series

Harding University’s Concert Lyceum Series will continue Jan. 31, 2014, with Dutch vocal quartet Quink. The concert will be held at 7 p.m. in the Administration Auditorium.

Since its first concerts in 1978, the group ranks among the top a cappella ensembles of the world. Members include four professional singers, Marjon Strijk, Elsbeth Gerritsen, Harry van Berne and Kees Jan de Koning. Quink’s repertoire stretches from the middle ages to contemporary music, thus spanning more than 800 years of musical history.

Their program will feature selections from Ralph Vaughan Williams, Ernest John Moeran and Frank Bridge. The group will also perform songs that originated in the U.S., the U.K., Hungary, Israel and Holland.
