Secretary of State to Welcome Worldwide Visitors to Arkansas for ATA World Championships

What:        Arkansas Secretary of State Charlie Daniels will officially welcome international visitors to Arkansas for the 19th Annual World Championships of the American Taekwondo Association (ATA).

When:       10:30 a.m., Friday, June 26

Little Rock, Arkansas

Details:     Secretary of State Charlie Daniels will welcome international visitors and dignitaries to Arkansas for the American Taekwondo Association’s 19th Annual World Championships at a ceremony Friday marking ATA Day at the State Capitol.

Following the ceremony, taekwondo students will be on hand to demonstrate their skills.

Secretary Daniels will order the South Korean flag to be flown over the Capitol in honor of the birthplace of taekwondo and to recognize the 20,000 participants and spectators of the competition in Little Rock this week.
