Space Available for Crafters and Vendors at Autumn Antique and Crafts Festival in Batesville

Additional space for crafters and antique vendors is available for Batesville’s first annual Autumn Antique and Crafts Festival, set for October 22-24.  The strong initial response–over 30 craftspeople and other vendors have already reserved booth space–has led organizers to make additional space available in Etta’s Attic, a new antique and collectibles store at 143 E. Main, set to open in early October.  Some indoor spaces also remain on the lower level of Olde Towne Mall at 407 East Main; outdoor space is also available in the Pocket Park.

Outdoor spaces, 10 x 10, are $10/day or $25 for all three days; indoor spaces, also 10 X 10, are $20/day and $50 for all three days.  Spaces are allotted on a “first come, first served” basis.  Crafters and other vendors interested in space should contact Paula Grimes at 870-793-4632 or downtownbatesville@sbcglobal.net.

Crafters already planning to attend will feature handbags, jewelry, furniture, quilts, rugs, wreaths, bird baths, candles, knitted items, and mailboxes.  Antique and collectible vendors will offer glassware, dishes, clocks, toys, dolls, and magazines. Grimes, the executive director of Main Street Batesville,

urges interested crafters and vendors to reserve space soon.   “We are conducting an extensive marketing campaign across the region,” she notes, “and we expect a healthy turn-out.  There are also a number of entertainment and family events scheduled around town during the festival, many free of charge.  The complete list of activities and events will be announced in early October and a program will be available at all participating merchants and businesses.”

The Autumn Antique and Crafts Festival is presented by Main Street Batesville and sponsored by First Community Bank, Citizen’s Bank, the Future Fuel Chemical Company, the Ozark Gateway Tourist Council, and the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce.
