Description: TASTE OF HEBER – ART WALK – CHAIR ART AUCTION-
Friday, April 22 from 6 PM – 7:30 PM – Over 20 restaurants participate in the annual “Taste of Heber” located at First General Baptist Church admission $5 Adults-Children 12&U free. Stroll through downtown businesses to see the artistic talents of two and three dimensional artists. Don’t forget to get your program punched at each participating business to win great door prizes. It’s not over until the Chair Art Auction. Just ordinary chairs are transformed into works of art just right for your living or dining room. Chairs will be auctioned Friday evening as a fundraiser to help support Springfest at 7:30 PM, door prizes will be drawn following the auction. Children’s activities will feature Sidewalk chalk, painting activities, and music & movement activities.
April 23, 24 – Quality Art & Handmade Crafts, Food & Entertainment – Art, Jewelry, Pottery, Wood Art, Wrought Iron, Yard Furniture & Native American crafts are just a few of the booths in Spring Park, including Bungee jump, slides, petting zoo and much more for the kids. On Saturday the Springfest Parade, Springfest Beauty Pageant and entertainment throughout the weekend in Spring Park. Check out the Springfest Car & Bike Show around the historical Cleburne County Courthouse and in Spring Park you’ll find the Mountain Top Volkswagen Car Show and Swap Meet. On Sunday Arts & Crafts continue as well as children’s games, gospel music and the Butterfly Pavilion. Also Kids the Ronald McDonald will be in the park on Sunday afternoon.
