Stroke: Preventing a Brain Attack
According to the National Institute on Aging, stroke is the third leading cause of death in the United States after heart disease and cancer. A stroke can occur suddenly, but being alert to the warning signs can prevent disability and even death.
The Center on Aging-Northeast will present, “Stroke: Preventing a Brain Attack,” on Tuesday, May 26th at 1:00 p.m. at Cleburne County Senior Center, 320 Trailwood Dr., in Heber Springs
The guest speaker for the program will be Beverly Parker, MSN, RN, with the Center on Aging-Northeast. Ms. Parker will discuss symptoms, prevention and how to cope during recovery of a stroke.
