The Batesville Area Arts Council will host a summer art camp for kids July 22 – 26. Students will learn about a variety of important artists, and practice different art techniques throughout the week with instructor Morgun Henson. All students will be featured in a culminating exhibition at the BAAC Gallery on Main July 30 – August 10. Students entering grades K – 2nd can attend from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., and grades 3rd – 6th will be from 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. The cost is $60 for the whole week, and snacks will be provided. The workshops will be held at the BAAC Gallery on Main at 226 E Main Street. Space is limited, so pre-registration is required.
