AJ Croce is the son of the late Jim Croce, who wrote and recorded “Operator”, “You Don’t Mess Around with Jim” and “Time in a Bottle” among other memorable songs in the early 1970’s. AJ followed in his father’s footsteps and began a career as a musician in the early 1990’s. He has enjoyed a successful musical career, in his own right as a singer/songwriter. AJ recently launched his tour “Two Generations of American Music” to celebrate the musical legacy of his father.

“AJ does his father’s legacy quite proud” says Ozark Folk Center State Park Music Director Daren Dortin. “He is a superbly talented musician and songwriter and has a substantial catalog of wonderful material. This “Two Generations” tour showcases not only his talent, but the lasting musical legacy of his father.”

The mission of Ozark Folk Center State Park is to perpetuate, present and promote the Ozark way of life in an educational and enjoyable manner; through craft demonstrations, musical programs, the Heritage Herb Garden, workshops and other special events.
