U.S. Senator John Boozman to Visit Batesville, Clinton, Heber Springs, Harrison, Jasper, Mountain Home this week

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) will attend events this week in several northern Arkansas cities.

Senator Boozman delivered a speech on the Senate floor in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the American Legion. He will join with members of American Legion Allen-McKinney Post #44 and present a copy of the speech and a flag that has flown over the U.S. Capitol to commemorate this milestone.

Boston Mountain Rural Health Center was awarded $285,000 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as part of a national effort to combat opioid addiction. Boozman supported the funding for this community clinic and will visit to learn more about its efforts to implement effective treatment, recovery and prevention methods that are critical addressing our nation’s opioid epidemic.
