Veterans no cost Rides Tuesday to VA Hospital in Little Rock

Attention Veterans: The disabled Veterans of Arkansas invites Veterans to take advantage of the no cost rides to the Veterans Hospitals in Little Rock and North Little Rock. The van runs each Monday and Friday except Holidays. The Van Starts in Mountain View and makes pickups in Drasco, Concord, Floral, Pleasant Plains, Bald Knob, Searcy, Beebe, Cabot and Jacksonville. Jim’s workshops are designed to help student with subject, composition, color and value. Each session will produce a finished painting. Payment by the month insures your place in this class. All materials provided.

Mardi Gras Dinner to Benefit Outreach Ministries

St. Francis Episcopal Church will hold a Mardi Gras Dinner on Shrove Tuesday, February 28, from 5:00–7:00 pm. The dinner will be held at the Parish Hall located at 20 Woodland Cove, Heber Springs, just off Hwy 110 across from the Heber Springs Sports Complex. The menu will feature New Orleans Gumbo, Red Beans & Rice, Salad, French Bread, Dessert, and assorted Beverages; Dine in or Take-out. Tickets prices are: Adults $12.50, Children 7 to 12 $6.00, Children 6 & Under Free. Proceeds from the dinner will benefit various outreach ministries throughout the community.
