ADRA’s Adventures for Kids

“ADRA’s Adventures for Kids” is an action-packed children’s program. It
introduces children to compassionate responsibility, and to humanitarian
work around the world. Children, ages five to 12 (and younger if accompanied
by a parent/guardian), will learn more about why they should help those in
need both in their communities and in developing countries.

The program will be held at Clinton Seventh-day Adventist Church gym, 125
Skyhill Drive, just north of town on Hwy. 65, and begins Sunday, July 12,
with registration at 4:30 p.m. VBS runs nightly with programs from 5:00
(snacktime) to 7:30 through Thursday, July 16.

“We need to teach our children to care about the needs of others and to act
upon their desire to help. “ADRA’s Adventures for Kids is a great program to
broaden the worldview of our children and open their eyes to the needs of
others,” said Tammy Williams, assistant director. This children’s program is
designed to help the children learn how they can share what they have with
people in other parts of the world, as well as their own neighborhoods. A
food and clothing drive will be included in the program. Any donations are
appreciated.

Parents are encouraged to provide a wallet-sized photo of each child for use
on the VBS “Passport,” and to participate with their children if they
desire. For more details, contact director Holly Joers at (501) 745-7592.
