ASU-Beebe Community Tree Lighting Event Moved Indoors

Due to the possibility of inclement weather, the Community Tree Lighting event on Thursday, Nov. 30 has been moved indoors to the Centennial Bank Gymnasium in the Owen Center on the Beebe campus, which is located at 1102 West College Street. The event is free and open to the public.

The event will begin at 2 p.m. with a Handmade Pottery Sale benefiting the Student Emergency Hope Fund. This will be followed by crafts, cocoa, cider and cookies at 4 p.m.

The ASU-Beebe Symphonic Band will perform at 4:30 p.m., followed by the ASU-Beebe Singers and Chamber Singers at 5 p.m.

The Tree Lighting Ceremony will be cast onto the big screens at 5:30 p.m. This will be followed by performances from the Studio 360 Dancers at 5:45 p.m. and Wyly Bigger and the Coyotes at 6 p.m.

In addition to the scheduled activities, there will also be a visit from Santa Claus, refreshments and holiday photos.

Hayrides have been canceled due to the weather.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are excited to celebrate the holiday season with our community and hope you will join us for this special event.
