Greers Ferry’s “Country Christmas”
Do you remember the good old days of Christmas when you and your family actually spent time together? Those times of decorating cookies, stringing popcorn, watching Christmas movies, singing Christmas carols, and driving around to look at Christmas lights. Well this Christmas season your memories will be brought back to life. Greers Ferry First Assembly of God along with local businesses and churches is putting on an event entitled Greers Ferry’s “Country Christmas” on December 13, 2008 from 10 am to 9:30 pm at Greers Ferry First Assembly of God. This will be an all-day event free of charge, complete with giveaways and door prizes throughout the day, a craft fair and craft classes, a live nativity scene (put on by Red River Church of God), a cookie decorating area, a petting zoo, inflatable games, free Christmas family photos, live music from local groups, along with a showing of Bing Crosby’s “White Christmas” on our 9 foot screen. Also, First Assembly of God’s Christmas Cantata “A Christmas Offering” will be from 6 – 7 pm. Every night Greers Ferry First Assembly of God will have a 45 foot Christmas Tree lit up in preparation for this event, which will continue being lit up through Christmas. Ya’ll come on out and enjoy the fun and time with your family at Greers Ferry’s “Country Christmas.” If you have any questions or would like more information please call Greers Ferry First Assembly of God at (501) 825-6655.
