Lt. Governor Griffin Hosts COVID-19 Teleconference With Sen. Boozman, FEMA & ADEM Officials, and County Judges

Lieutenant Governor Tim Griffin hosted a teleconference today with U.S. Senator John Boozman, FEMA Region 6 Administrator Tony Robinson, ADEM Director A.J. Gary, and Arkansas County Judges to discuss the impact of COVID-19 on counties across Arkansas and answer questions from local elected officials.

Following the teleconference, Griffin said:

“Arkansas’s County Judges are seeing the health and economic impacts of COVID-19 firsthand, and it’s important we keep the lines of communication open with them to help address problems and combat this virus. Additionally, many counties have been impacted by severe weather and storm damage on top of the COVID-19 crisis. I appreciate their leadership during this crisis, and I am committed to doing everything I can to support them.”
