A Conway man on parole has been sentenced to the Arkansas Department of Correction for drug and battery charges.
On February 25, 2010, Parole officers conducting a home visit on Alexander Montgomery Bethea at 2810 Wills Court in Conway, Arkansas discovered drugs and drug paraphernalia in Bethea’s bedroom and vehicle.
Bethea was arrested and held for parole violation.
Items seized included several pill bottles containing Ecstasy and hydrocodone, plastic baggies, a digital scale, utility knives, a cell phone including drug related messages and currency located with the drugs.
During his incarceration, on April 6, 2010, Bethea attacked an officer at the Faulkner County Detention Center.
