Little Rock, Ark. – As First Congressional District Candidate Chad Causey prepares for next week’s fundraiser with former President Bill Clinton, the Republican party of Arkansas (RPA) raises the question: While President Clinton has said President Obama makes “good policy decisions,” does Chad Causey share Clinton’s support of President Obama’s big government agenda?
“Former President Clinton has been a big supporter of President Obama’s liberal policies, including Obamacare and the stimulus, which are extremely unpopular in Arkansas,” said RPA Senior Communications Advisor Alice Stewart. “With that being said, it’s natural to ask: Chad Causey, do you also support the Obama Administration’s big-government, out-of-control spending policies? Do you intend to be a rubberstamp on the administration’s tax-and-spend ways.”
President Obama has called on Former President Clinton to gain support for his out-of-control spending policies. Not only that, Clinton has repeatedly voiced support for the current president’s policies by ensuring that voters would come around on Obamacare as long as congress would ‘put the corn where the hogs can get to it,’ he stated that stimulus was ‘quite a good bill.’ and even went so far as to say President Obama ‘made good people decisions and good policy decisions.‘ Clinton is scheduled to attend a fundraiser for Chad Causey in Arkansas next Wednesday, Sept. 8.
“The people of the First District want a Congressman like Rick Crawford who will be a check and balance on the Obama administration, and not align himself with anyone who is such a clear Obama supporter, no matter what his definition of ‘is’ is,” Stewart said.
