September Feature Concerts at Ozark Folk Center State Park

The Ozark Folk Center State Parks offers double dose of regional music with several Feature Concerts in the month of September.

Mark Bilyeu and Cindy Woolf kick off a weekend of feature concerts at the Ozark Folk Center State Park on Thursday, Sept. 24 with a 2-3:00 p.m. matinee set on the Ozark Folk Center’s Craft Grounds and will be the featured performer for the evening concert at 7:00 p.m. The duo, based out of Springfield, Missouri, combines instrument arrangements and vocal harmony into a mix of original and traditional songs, all with unique ties to the Ozark region.

Wil Maring will is the featured performer; Saturday, Sept. 26 with a 2 -3:00 p.m. matinee set on the Craft Grounds followed by an evening set in the Large Auditorium at 7pm. Wil will be joined by guitarist Robert Bowlin for both sets.

“These are a great opportunities for music fans to see some of the top talent based in our part of the country” says Ozark Folk Center Music Director Daren Dortin. “Both groups embody the musical traditions of our region in their own style.”

Matinee performances are included in the $12.00 daily admission fee to the Ozark Folk Center State Park. Evening concert tickets are $12.00 general admission seats and can be purchased the day of the show. Combination tickets for each day are also available for $19.50 and include admission to the matinee and evening show.
