LITTLE ROCK – Second District Congressional candidate, U.S. Army Reservist and former U.S. Attorney Tim Griffin today received the endorsement of the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) in his bid to replace outgoing U.S. Rep. Vic Snyder.
NRA-PVF Chairman Chris Cox said, “Tim Griffin has vowed to support gun owners and hunters in Arkansas and is a champion of the Second Amendment. I have known and worked with Tim for better than a decade. I can tell you from a personal and professional stand-point that there is no better candidate to protect and preserve your gun rights, and that’s why the NRA-PVF is endorsing Tim Griffin in Arkansas’ 2nd Congressional District.”
Griffin received an “AQ” rating from NRA-PVF, the highest rating for a candidate who does not have a voting record on Second Amendment issues.
“I am proud to receive the endorsement of an organization committed to defending our Second Amendment rights,” Griffin said. “The Bill of Rights is not a menu you can pick and choose from. As a soldier and gun owner, I am proud to be a member of the NRA, and I look forward to defending the rights of gun owners in Congress.”
