16th Annual Veterans’ Day Service in Conway

The students of St Joseph High School will host their 16th annual Veterans’ Day Service in the Parish Hall, located across from St. Joseph Church, on Tuesday, November 11, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. For weeks the students, under the direction of Social Studies teacher Ms. Betsy Beecham, spend time researching the history of the meaning behind the celebration of Veteran’s Day. The program honors veterans from wars past and present, retired and on active duty. The moving presentation includes live music, a Boy Scout Flag Honor Guard, readings that will include a history of Veterans’ Day, a photo display, and more.

This program is free and open to the public. Participation provides an opportunity to thank those in uniform for their service and sacrifice to protect our American freedoms.

All servicemen and women are encouraged to attend.

St. Joseph is located at 1115 College Avenue, Conway. For more information or directions call St. Joseph High School at 501-329-5741, or contact Ms Beacham at bbeacham@sjbulldogs.org.
