ASU-Beebe Lecture-Concert Series Presents C. McNair Wilson, An Imagineer’s Behind the Dreams

The Lecture-Concert Series at Arkansas State University-Beebe is proud to announce the presentation of C. McNair Wilson, An Imagineer’s Behind the Dreams, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 4 in the Owen Center theater, located at 1102 West College Street on the Beebe campus. Tickets are priced at $10 general admission and $5 for educators, military personnel, K-12 students and senior citizens aged 60 and older.

Wilson’s impressive career spans across esteemed organizations, leaving an indelible mark on the entertainment industry. He served as a consultant for 23 divisions of the Disney Company corporate from 1989 to 1996, contributed significantly to Walt Disney Imagineering from 1985 to 1991, and made lasting impacts at Walt Disney World, Epcot and Disney Conventions from 1982 to 1987.

In addition to his contributions to Disney, Wilson has also made significant creative contributions to Universal Studios from 1991 to 1994, Sony Entertainment, and Warner Bros. His role as a creative director involved overseeing various projects, including stage plays, musicals, grand openings, convention shows, street theater and conference planning staging.

Beyond his work in the entertainment industry, Wilson has established himself as a respected keynote speaker and seminar leader. He captivates audiences at conventions, conferences, and gatherings for professionals, non-profits and faith-based organizations. Wilson is also sought after as a creativity coach, guiding individuals and teams through positive and productive brainstorming sessions, fostering innovation and problem-solving.

Wilson’s expertise extends to executive communications coaching, helping individuals enhance their public speaking and presentation skills. As a published author, he has written three books and numerous articles and has more exciting projects in progress. Additionally, Wilson showcases his artistic talents as a cartoonist and illustrator, with his works gracing the pages of books, magazines and even adorning the walls of renowned restaurants.
