Description: Marrying the thrill of birding with Petit Jean’s serene vistas, the 2012 Arkansas Audubon Society (AAS) spring convention will meet Friday, April 27 through Sunday, April 29 at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute. The convention willfeature birding field trips, ornithology student presentations, and keynotespeakers covering an Arkansas Big Year and a birding safari in Kenya. Additionally, participants will enjoy a silent auction, door prizes, andopportunities to network with other wildlife enthusiasts. Friday registrationlasts from 4 – 6 p.m. in the foyer of the Show Barn Hall.

Conventionregistration is $20 per person if registered by April 13; after that, it is $25per person. The convention is open to non-members, and children under 16 arefree.
