The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for 2012 Business Awards. The winners will be recognized during the 2013 Business Expo and Annual Awards Ceremony held on January 23rd, 2013 on the campus of University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville. Nominations are being accepted in the following four categories:
· Small Business of the Year (50 employees or less)
· Large Business of the Year (50+ employees)
· New Business of the Year (must have opened for business in 2012)
· Volunteer of the Year
The criteria for Small /Large/New Business of the Year nominations are as follows:
· Business must adhere to the principles and goals of the Chamber and be supportive of the Chamber’s mission.
· Have a positive, promotional attitude toward the Batesville area in business, personal and community relations.
· Display a thoughtful and innovative approach to business.
· Demonstrate a high level of integrity in business dealings and customer service.
· Be committed to the long term growth of the Batesville area.
· Must be a Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce member in good standing.
The criteria for Volunteer of the Year nominations are as follows:
· Evidence of initiative and innovation.
· Have a positive, promotional attitude toward the Batesville area in business, personal and community relations.
· Demonstrate a high level of integrity in all facets of service.
· Be committed to the long term growth of Batesville area.
