We invite you to join us on as we walk to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease (AD). AD affects approximately 75,000 Arkansans and is the most common form of dementia. This year our theme for the Walk is “Caregiver’s Count”, and we think that it says what we’re all about. Too often, caregivers are overlooked when we talk about Alzheimer’s disease. More than 50% of caregivers pass away before the patient, due to the stress of caregiving. They spend countless hours caring for their loved one and need support to help deal with this devastating disease. With your support we can continue to provide needed services to individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
