Description: help raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Central Arkansas on Monday, August 29th at Josie’s at the Lockhouse in Batesville.
Karaoke For a Cause is an evening of competition, great food, silent and live auctions. The 2011 event will have two categories of competition: the soloists category and group category will allow individuals or duets, quartets and the like to compete. At the event, each performer or group raises money as they perform. The audience donates money to the performer or group of their choice during the night’s competition. The contestant bringing in the most cash receives the BBBS Karaoke Traveling Trophy.
All proceeds will help the local BBBS agency match many more children with a Big Brother, Big Sister, or Big Couple. Big Brothers Big Sisters is the largest and most recognized one-to-one mentoring organizaiton in the world serving children ages 6-13 who need a positive role model.
