The Searcy Regional Chamber of Commerce invites you to attend the Economics Club Luncheon on Monday, October 5, 2009, at 11:45 a.m. The luncheon will be held on the Harding University Campus in the Founders Room of the American Heritage Center. Claiborne Deming, retired Murphy Oil CEO, will be the keynote speaker. Mr. Deming will discuss his views on the nation’s energy future, including legislation currently pending before Congress related to climate change. Mr. Deming has spoken to hundreds of business leaders around the state over the past month and has brought a lot of attention to numerous myths and realities.
