Washington, D.C.—Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) today released the following statement on the death of Cleburne County Sheriff Richard Swain:
“Today, I join the residents of Cleburne County and all Arkansans in mourning the death of Sheriff Richard Swain. While his tenure was brief, Sheriff Swain had nobly served the Cleburne County Sheriff’s office in other ways for more than a decade. He will be remembered for his dedication to his community and to the state of Arkansas. Anna and I want to extend our deepest condolences to Sheriff Swain’s wife and children, as well as all who are grieving his death.”
