Federal and Arkansas officials have announced 34 people are charged with a number of counts that include: conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and weapons charges. Investigators say the investigation (based in the Clinton area in Van Buren County) that the group distributed or possessed methamphetamine. 21 people are facing state drug charges.
U.S. Attorney Chris Thyer; Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent in Charge David Downing; Prosecuting Attorney Cody Hiland; and Van Buren County Sheriff Scott Bradley announced the charges and arrests as a joint effort.
