Description: The Wilburn Friends & Family Relay for Life Team is hosting a “Lock Up for Life” event on Saturday, June 1 at the Wilburn Fire Station from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Some special area folks have agreed to be “arrested” for having a big heart. This unique community-wide event will raise much needed funds and awareness to help fight cancer! Our “inmates” must raise a bond of $100 each in order to get out of jail. The process is simple, each “jail bird” will ask 10 friends to donate $10 each – easy $100. Each participant will be fed a nice brunch in appreciation of their time and efforts. What a wonderful opportunity to raise $$ for a great cause and to visit with friends and constituents in the area.
