Griffin Files End-Of-Year Fundraising Report

LITTLE ROCK – Second District Congressional candidate, U.S. Army Reservist and former U.S. Attorney Tim Griffin today announced the filing of his end-of-year report with the Federal Election Commission and that he raised $261,457.58 for the fourth quarter of 2009.

“Our fundraising represents the strength of our grassroots, neighbor to neighbor campaign to return common sense conservative values to Congress,” Griffin said. “I am humbled by the hundreds of individual Arkansans who are backing my first run for office in hopes of electing a Congressman who will work for us, not against us.

“Our campaign will continue to build momentum and discuss the issues important to the Second District, including private sector job creation, reigning in the national debt, and reducing the role of government in our lives,” Griffin added.

Since Griffin entered the Second District race in late September he has raised a total of $391,762.58.

Griffin ended 2009 with $316,535.42 cash on hand.
