Griffin to Host ‘Sweet Tea with Tim’

Congressman Tim Griffin (AR-02) issued the following statement in announcing details for his upcoming “Sweet Tea with Tim” listening tour event in Searcy:

“I am always looking for ways to serve better the folks I represent, and a key part of that effort is to hear what’s on their minds and update them on the issues they care about.  I have hosted a series of ‘Sweet Tea with Tim’ events, where folks come out and talk about issues over a glass of cold sweet tea.  I’m proud to announce that on Monday, I’ll be hosting a Sweet Tea event in Searcy.  I hope folks will join us for it.”

Congressman Tim Griffin was re-elected as the 24th representative of Arkansas’s Second Congressional District on November 6, 2012.  For the 113th Congress, he is a member of the House Committee on Ways and Means while also serving as an Assistant Whip for the majority.  In the 112th Congress, he served as a member of the House Armed Services Committee, the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the House Committee on the Judiciary.
