Title: Harding University Wind Ensemble to hold concert March 1
Location: Administration Auditorium on Harding University campus
Description: The Harding University wind ensemble will present a concert March 1 at 7 p.m. in the Administration Auditorium on campus.

The concert will feature a side-by-side performance with 7th- and 8th-grade band students from Riverview schools. Expect to hear a diverse musical line-up including “Commando March” by Samuel Barber, “Irish Tune” from County Derry and Shepherd’s Hey, “Eine Kleine Yiddishe Ragmusik” by Adam Gorb, “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” by J.S. Bach, March from “Symphonic Metamorphosis” by Carl Maria von Weber, and “Brilliant Legacy Suite” for Band by Charles Booker Jr., among others.

“Our goal is to offer a quality musical experience which includes a wide variety of music for concert band, wind ensemble, and chamber winds,” said director Dr. Mike Chance.
