Description: Intro to Sewing: January 28, 31, February 4 and 7 from 6:15 p.m. until 8:15 p.m. in UACCB’s Fine Arts Building, Room 603. Registration is $60. Enter the exciting world of sewing. Marsha Cole will introduce you to the sewing machine, how to properly operate the machine, how to thread, and the basics of learning to sew. She will share some quick sewing tips on how to finish a seam, put in a zipper, set sleeves, read patterns, and do basic alterations. You will need to bring your own portable sewing machine to class, the machine’s instruction manual, scissors, measuring and marking tools, dressmaker pins, thread, extra bobbins and needles. Pre-registration and full payment should be received five business days prior to the first day of class.
