The Junior Auxiliary of Searcy (JA) pitched in with Sunshine School Summer Camp by assisting the students with painting serving platters, bowls, saucers and cups.
Each year the Sunshine School holds a three-day summer camp at Searcy’s Camp Wyldewood, located at 155 Riverside Park Road and each year JA shows support for the school by participating in the camp.
“We are so honored to be able to come out to Camp Wyldewood for the Sunshine School’s summer camp. It’s a fun way to wrap up the summer and we always feel blessed for having been a part of the camp in a small way,” said JA Sunshine School Chairperson Kristi Valencia.

Once the serving pieces are completed by the students, Junior Auxiliary will include them in a silent auction during their annual Charity Ball scheduled for March 1, 2014. All proceeds from the Charity Ball go to bettering the lives of children in White County.
