Description: “Music In The Park” is a series of concerts sponsored by the City
of Heber Springs and the City of Heber Springs Advertising and
Promotions Board. There are twelve (12) concerts scheduled for this
summer with the first concert June 2, 2012 at 7PM. All concerts will
be held in the Spring Park Amphitheater, located in Spring Park.
Admission is FREE. Concessions are available.
Our headliner for our first show, June 2, 2012, is Posey Hill. Posey
Hill is a fine Americana blend of Arkansas bluegrass, old time and
contemporary folk. They feature enchanting vocals with tight family
harmony and tasteful acoustic instrumentation performing songs for
people of all ages to enjoy. More and more they feature their own
original material along with many standards. Their influences include
Alison Krauss, Patty Loveless, The Trio (Dolly, Emmylou and Linda),
the Carter Family, New Grass Revival, the Greencards, Flatt & Scruggs,
Dan Fogelberg, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, Seldom Scene, Beatles, etc.
