The purpose is to remind people of the terrible toll that violence, most of it against women and children, takes on families and relationships. Abuse is not only physical but can be emotional, economic or sexual. If you or someone you know is in an abusive relationship, please call Safe Passage, Inc. at their 24/7 Hotline 870-368-3222. You will find donation jars at many businesses throughout Izard and Fulton Counties. The Safe Passage Office is in their Thrift Store on Highway 69, east of the traffic light in Melbourne.
