On Saturday, May 4, 2013, the Committee of 100’s Herb Garden Committee and the Ozark Folk Center State Park’s garden crew will celebrate National Herb Day during the Heritage Herb Spring Extravaganza! Visitors will be treated to a garden tour at 11:00 A.M. and an informative program starring Elderberry, Herb of the Year 2013 at 3:000 P.M. Programs will begin at the Herb Shoppe in the Craft Village of the Ozark Folk Center State Park and will move to areas around the garden. Committee of 100 members will be on hand serving refreshments and visiting with garden enthusiasts. The Ozark Folk Center State Park Craft Village is open from 10 A.M. until 5 P.M.. Tickets this year’s event are half price; Adult tickets are $6.00 and children, ages six through twelve, are admitted for $4.00.
