SEARCY, Ark. — The Searcy Summer Dinner Theatre is continuing with its second production of theseason, “Southern Hospitality” by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten.The play will be performed in the Ulrey Performing Arts Center at Harding University June 28-July 1 and July 5-7.
This play is thethird in the trilogy that began with “Dearly Beloved” and “Christmas Belles”performed in 2010 and 2011, respectively. The Futrelle sisters — Frankie,Twink, Honey Raye and Rhonda Lynn — are in trouble again. This time theirbeloved hometown Fayro, Texas, is in danger of disappearing and it’sup to the sisters to save it from extinction. Their way of doing so is atestament to Southern strength and ingenuity — and a recipe for total hilarity.
