Boil Order for Van Buren County

Max Gammill has issued a “Boil Water Notice” for Van Buren County Water Association customers on Highway 95 from the tank (located across from the Scotland School) past the Junction of Highway 389, extending to the Van Buren – Conway counties line, and all side roads feeding from this area (including Pleasant Grove Loop, Wooden Bridge Road, Dayton Road, Quarry Road, Hwy. 389 from Jct. with Quarry Road and Wilderness Trail

In addition a boil order is called for Van Buren County customers on Hwy 16 including the Nogo area and from Jct of Hwy 16 and Hwy 27  to Highway 254 East to Junction Queens Simmons Road.

This order is issued as a precautionary measure because of the possibility that contaminated water may have entered the distribution system as the result of a partial loss of normal system pressure.

Under the “Boil Water” Notice, all affected customers are advised that the water may be unsafe for human consumption and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one (1) minute prior to use.

This boil order is in effect for Van Buren County Water Association Customers in the above areas only.
