Bone marrow drive to take place at Harding University

The Harding University College of Pharmacy is hosting a bone marrow drive March 29-30 in the lobby of the Henry and Grace Farrar Center for Health Sciences.

Fourth year pharmacy student Will Doles, a resident of Fort Valley Ga., will help to host the drive as part of his community project, a requirement for every fourth year pharmacy student. Doles’ wish is to have Harding host a bone marrow drive annually.

“Harding University and our hometown of Searcy are part of a unique community of people that are always willing to help their fellow man, and this bone marrow registry drive provides a great opportunity to help us save a life,” Doles said. “By registering, you have the chance to save another person’s life, and that is an indescribable feeling that I hope we can all enjoy.”

 Stop by Friday, March 29, from 12 – 6:30 p.m. or Saturday, March 30 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. to donate. For more information about donating visit bethematch.org.
