Boozman Named Chairman of Three Subcommittees in 115th Congress

U.S. Sen. John Boozman (R-AR) announced that he will serve as chairman of three key subcommittees which will enable him to be a strong voice for Arkansas in the U.S. Senate.

Boozman will lead the following subcommittees in the 115th Congress:

·The Committee on Appropriation’s Subcommittee on Homeland Security
·The Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry’s Subcommittee on Commodities, Risk Management and Trade
· The Committee on Environment and Public Works’ Subcommittee on Fisheries, Water and Wildlife

“I am grateful to be entrusted by my colleagues with the leadership of these important subcommittees. I look forward to working to safeguard our country, continuing to be a voice for Arkansas agriculture and improving our water quality and quantity needs,” Boozman said.

Boozman will serve on the Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee; the Appropriations Committee; the Budget Committee; the Environment and Public Works Committee; and the Veterans Affairs Committee. In addition to his chairmanship responsibilities, Boozman will serve on the following subcommittees:
