Boyfriend of Nona Dirksmeyer Says He Contaminated the Crime Scene

Kevin Jones the boyfriend of Nona Dirksmeyer says He contaminated the crime scene after he tried to give her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and straddled her body to keep her warm. Under cross-examination Jones acknowledged that he thought she was dead. He also could’t explain why his bloody palm print was found on a floor lamp used to bludgeon Dirksmeyer to death.

In Clarksville during day eight of the Gary Dunn capital murder trial the name of the defendant was not mentioned, and instead focused on testimony from Dirksmeyer’s boyfriend.

Jones was initially charged in the 2005 slaying, but a jury acquitted him in 2007.
