Citizens Bank to host Chamber Quarterly Luncheon: “Piece of the Pie”

Citizens Bank will host the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce 1st Quarter Membership Luncheon from 11:00 am – 12:30pm on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 in the Annex Building of Citizens Bank. The topic of discussion will be hospitality and tourism with an emphasis on capturing your “Piece of the Pie.” Allison Phelps, Events Coordinator said, “The Batesville area is going to experience a boom in tourism on the weekend of May 2nd when the Bad Boy Baseball Tournament and Mark Martin Fan Appreciation Day are begin held. This luncheon is geared to help the businesses in the Batesville area take advantage of this great opportunity that is being presented to them.”

The guest speaker, Scott Sudduth, has been in the hospitality industry for 30 years, which includes hotel, food and beverage, and convention management. He is a member of the Arkansas Hospitality Association and was inducted into the association’s “Hall of Fame” in 2005. Scott’s presentation will focus on five guaranteed strategies to attract tourists to your place of business and how to get them to come back the next day.

The fee for Members is $10. The fee for Non-Members is $15. Tickets are available at the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce. Lunch will be sponsored by Sonic.
