WHO: The City of Melbourne will celebrate Arbor Day with a tree-planting ceremony at the City of Melbourne walking trail on Tuesday, May 23, at 2 p.m.
WHAT: Melbourne Mayor Shannon Womack, Izard County Forester Kenny Smothers, Ozarka College President Richard Dawe and children from the Ozarka College Kids Academy will participate in the tree-planting ceremony. A Tree-City USA Award will be presented by the National Arbor Day Foundation and the National Association of State Foresters.
