Davy Jones had died after suffering a heart attack Wednesday (February 29). Celebrity website TMZ reports that Jones was taken to the Martin County Hospital in Florida after suffering a heart attack at his home. Born in Manchester, England, Jones trained as a jockey before taking up acting as a profession. Cast in The Monkees TV show, loosely based on The Beatles’ A Hard Day’s Night movie, Jones quickly became the teen heartthrob in the group. For more.
