Dream Riders will be hosting a “Dancing with the Stars” type event here in Izard County in September but they need your help.
We are still in search of 4 to 5 couples (or singles, no partner necessary) to learn either a ballroom, latin or swing dance over the next few months to perform at the event. The lessons will be of no charge to participants and taught by Patricia Perez. Dances could include waltz, foxtrot, salsa, tango, samba, cha cha, swing, bolero and more. First come first serve on choice of dance.
Lessons are to start soon and we ask that you dedicate at least one lesson per week to learn your routine. Lessons will be taught at the Franklin Community Building unless another suitable location for practice is offered.
