Faulkner County Library Cook the Book

The Faulkner County Library welcomes you to “Cook the Book!” on Thursday, May 25 at 6:00 PM at the Faulkner County Library. What a great way to start off summer!

Here’s how this works: we have chosen a cookbook, and we invite you to stop by the front desk at the library and take a look, chose a recipe, go home and cook it, and bring the completed dish back to the library to share.

The first cookbook for this inaugural event is: “The Book Lover’s Cookbook” by Shaunda Kennedy Wender and Janet Kay Jensen. The recipes were inspired by some of the most loved works by such authors as Jane Austen, Toni Morrison, Washington Irving, Benjamin Franklin, and a host of others.

The library will supply paper goods and drinks, so come on in, sign up, and bring enough to share (and bring a copy of your recipe so everyone can enjoy it in the future)!

All library events are free and open to the public.
